Hello all,
I thought a makeup review would be a perfect way to start my new blog. And as I've beem living in Asia for more than a year I got into Asian beauty market a lot and I can't wait to share all the nice stuff I've found! Yay ;)
My adventures in Asia started 3 years ago when I first time visited Hong Kong and it blew my mind. I am crazy about beauty products and fashion,so I've heard a lot about BB-creams long ago before all western beauty labels started to massively launch them too. So on the next morning after my arrival I rushed to the nearest beauty shop (which was an HK chain of beauty stores called Sasa) looking for the best BB-creams they could recommend and this one was one of them. So I thought I'm gonna make a review on this one as my first post in my new blog.

What do they promise :
BRTC PERFECT PROTECT SYSTEM Jasmine Water BB Cream SPF30 blends the benefits of skin care and makeup, simultaneously performing functions of whitening care, sunscreen, anti-oxidant treatment and concealer. It not only evens up and brightens up complexion, but also conceals imperfections. In addition, it keeps providing skin with rich nourishment and a reliable sunscreen. Containing Jasmine Extract, it delivers tons of moisture to correct dehydrated skin, leaving skin watery. Properties of anti-oxidant sweep away dullness, making skin look translucent white.
Its light and soft texture allows natural and flawless finish that is far superior to any traditional foundation. For all skin types, especially young or dehydrated skin.
Active ingredients:
- titanium dioxide / Zinc Oxide: reflects UV rays and protects skin.
- Arbutin: whitens skin.

- Aloe Extract: soothes and hydrates skin.

- Birch Extract: soothes skin and allows natural radiance.
The tube contains 60 grams of cream.
My face nude, my skin is in a terrible condition at the moment, because I've been facing a lot of stress lately. A lot of stress always end up in breakouts and skin dryness for me.
I usually apply all lliquid foundations and bb creams with a wet sponge. Mine looks like this.
For this review I first applied a primer. Mine is Babe Skin by Maybelline. Got it from the Watson's. It has a pearly texture.
Originally it is meant to make asian skin pink, but it looks on my skin very nice and gives me healthy look, kind of a shine from within.
Here's a bb cream swatch on my hand.
With bb cream on.The coverage is light and brightening.
With powder on. I use Chanel Mat lumiere, applied with a kabuki brush for a lightweight finish.
With blush, mascara on
Pros:
- Light jasmine scent which I find very pleasant and relaxing, feels like aromatherapy every time I put it on.
- It is very moisturizing
- Light coverage and not cakey.
- Makes my skin look radiant and healthy
- Adjusts to my skin tone very well, but maybe too light for someone.
- SPF 30
- Doesn't oxidize on me
Although I love this product, I shall point out the facts that can be found cons for someone.
Cons:
- It may settle in your pores, sometimes it does for me. The primer will fix it, but you should probably try it before you buy if you have large pores.
- The coverage is light, so if you have some serious skin problems, you should leave this one alone
- If your skin is flaky, this bb may make the flakes more visible.
- Only 1 shade available which is typical for Asian products.
All in all I find this product very pleasant to use and after been using it for almost 3 years (it is my second tube) it stays one of my favorites bb of all time. And i love that jasmine scent.
The price is about 35 USD for 60 grams
Bisous Bisous,
Tatiana
